Meriden's Stormy and Warmer Weekday Forecast

Enjoy the rest of Tuesday as it feels like a summer day with sunny skies and temps in the low to mid 80s.

Beginning tonight the weather changes and there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms off and on beginning Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will be in the mid 70s on the shoreline and low 80s in interior sections.

On Friday the precipitation stops but skies remain cloudy with temps in the mid 70s on the shoreline to low 80s inland.

But the sun does return for one day on Saturday with sunny skies and temps around 80 degrees. And more showers possible for Sunday.

Tuesday, Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 85. South wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight, Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then isolated showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday, A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night, A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 10pm. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
