THE "MERRY MAKERS" RETURN TO WESTFIELD CONNECTICUT POST, WESTFIELD MERIDEN AND WESTFIELD TRUMBULL TO SURPRISE AND DELIGHT SHOPPERS WITH RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS, GIVING AND ENTERTAINMENT ALL SEASON LONG
Merry Makers return to Westfield CT Post, Meriden and Trumbull

Due to popular demand, Westfield Connecticut Post, Westfield Meriden and Westfield Trumbull are bringing back the Merry Makers this holiday season. Beginning Black Friday until Christmas Eve, a team of Merry Makers will wander joyously through the center to surprise and delight shoppers with unexpected acts of kindness and giving. The Merry Makers will treat Westfield shoppers to impromptu special services and giveaways, as well as perform throughout the day to perform holiday-themed song and dance routines.
“We aim to embody the holiday spirit by creating magical moments for our shoppers when they least expect it. After all, spreading joy is what the holiday season is all about and our goal is to make shopping during the holidays as convenient and enjoyable as possible,” said Andrew Chi, Senior Marketing Director, Westfield.

ST. JUDE THANKS AND GIVING®:
And finally, keeping in line with Westfield’s goal of giving back this holiday season, the company is once again partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, an unprecedented union of celebrities, media, retail and corporate brands, that asks consumers to donate while they shop during the holiday season to support the lifesaving research and treatment at St. Jude.
The campaign, which began as a holiday-focused fundraising effort, has grown into an annual tradition that has raised more than $487 million over the past ten years to help St. Jude provide cutting-edge treatment and pursue visionary research.
Beginning Thanksgiving week and running through the end of the year, Westfield will donate $1 for every holiday photo that is taken in any of its 40 centers nationwide and posted to social media with the hash tag #MakeMeMerry.
