Mom Used Son, 12, To Help Shoplift: Meriden Police
Police say the woman used her 12-year-old son to help steal more than $700 worth of items from Stop & Shop.

MERIDEN, CT — A Meriden woman is accused of using her 12-year-old son to help her steal more than $700 worth of merchandise from Stop & Shop in Meriden, according to multiple reports.
WTNH News 8 reports Erica Maisonet, 32, was arrested for the incident on Saturday after police say she put the items into a bag her son was carrying and he was stopped by security after walking out of the store.
The Department of Children and Families was notified about the incident, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
