When a loved one moves to a Long-Term Care facility, it can be an emotional journey for family members as well. Whether the move was the result of a sudden illness or a drastic change in circumstance, such a major change in the life of a loved one resonates throughout a family.
Coping with conflicting feelings of guilt and relief are commom struggles, as well as knowing how to respond to difficult questions or making the most of visits to their loved one's new home.
