Motorcyclist Dies In Meriden Crash

A motorcycle collided with an SUV Sunday night near Hubbard Park.

MERIDEN, CT - A motorcyclist died following a crash with an SUV Sunday night near Hubbard Park, NBC reported. Police responded to the call shortly after 5 p.m. and found Leopold Dishereits, 53, face down on West Main Street being attended to by emergency personnel.

Dishereits died at Midstate Hospital from his injuries.

He was traveling on West Main Street when he hit the passenger-side door of a 2012 Nissan Rogue that was turning left into the park. The Nissan's driver suffered minor injuries.
