New Officers Sworn In To Meriden Police Department
The Meriden Police Department welcomed two new officers to the force this week.

MERIDEN, CT — The Meriden Police Department welcomed two new officers who were sworn in this week. Pictured, from left to right, are: Councilor Miguel Castro, Officer Stephanie Gonzalez, Officer Jazmin Delgado, and Chief Jeffry Cossette. Read more from the Meriden Police Department below:
Officer Delgado was raised in Meriden and went through the Meriden school system. She attended Middlesex Community College and is finishing her bachelor's degree at Quinnipiac University. She transferred here after spending the last 2 years as a Police Officer in New Haven.
Officer Gonzalez grew up in Hamden and graduated from the University of New Haven with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Administration. She recently graduated the Connecticut Police Academy.
