Obituary: Alexandra Caracoglia, 48, of Middletown

MERIDEN, CT - Alexandra Caracoglia, 48, of Middletown, died Friday October 13, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital.

She was born in Middletown, the daughter of Antonio “Tony” Caracoglia of Middletown and the late Judy (Beeman) Caracoglia. A graduate of Middletown High School, class of 1987, Alexandra later went on to obtain her Master’s Degree at Central Connecticut State University. She was currently a teacher at Israel Putnam Elementary School in Meriden.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her sister, Olivia DiMauro and her husband Sal of Middletown and her nephew and niece, Dante and Ava; along with many extended family and friends.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Monday (Oct. 23rd) at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm St., Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.
