Obituary: Beverly Ann Sievert, 65, of Meriden

For more than 25 years Beverly worked as director of the personal shopping department of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Beverly Ann Sievert, 65, of Meriden, passed away on June 17, 2017 at Masonicare, Wallingford. She was born in Southington on August 23, 1951 to Bertha Helen Seifert and the late Edward Sievert.

Along with her mother Bertha, she is survived by her sisters Kathleen Coe (Gregory) of Wakefield, RI, Donna Damalas (Steven) of Concord, MA, and Barbara Barnett (Gary) of Meriden. She is also survived by her niece Tina Damalas, nephews Gregory Coe II, Nicholas Damalas and Michael Barnett, and grand nephew Gregory Coe III.

For more than 25 years Beverly worked as director of the personal shopping department of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. She loved traveling around the world, but especially enjoyed the California Wine Country. She also loved gardening and watching the UCONN women’s basketball team.

Friends are invited to visit with Beverly’s family on Friday June 23 from 5-8 p.m. in the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave. Meriden. On Saturday June 24 everyone is invited to meet directly at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 164 Hanover St. Meriden at 10:30am for a service celebrating Beverly’s life. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 164 Hanover St. Meriden, CT 06451, or to The Masonic Charity Foundation, P.O. Box 70 Wallingford, CT 06492.
