After retiring, she assisted in running ceramics classes at the Meriden Senior Center. She loved to read, knit, cook, shop and could create masterpieces out of blank pieces of wood. She loved music and could not help but sing and dance along whenever “Sweet Caroline” came on. More than anything, she treasured her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, John (Cristin) Gress, Allison (Michael) Murray and Amy (Frank) Wild; and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Avery, Frank, Brodie, Kyle and Matthew. She also leaves behind her friend, Joseph Chasse and her faithful four-legged companion, Tootsie.
