Joseph J. Carino Jr., 68, of Meriden, loving husband of Kathy Ann (Morin) Carino, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at MidState Medical Center.
Joseph was born in Meriden, July 8, 1949, a son of the late Joseph J. Carino Sr. and Theresa (Begos) Carino and had been a lifelong Meriden resident. He was employed by the City of Meriden Water Department as a water filtration plant operator until his retirement.

In addition to his wife Kathy Ann, he is survived by his two sons John J. Carino of Meriden and Jeremy R. Carino of Southington; two grandchildren; and his brother David Carino of Meriden.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Monday, February 19, 2018 from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be private in the Mausoleum at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
