Obituary: Louis L. Benigni Jr., 65, of Meriden

Louis L. Benigni Jr., 65, of Meriden, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Louis was born in Meriden, May 21, 1953, a son of the late Louis L. Benigni Sr. and Dorothy (Leveille) Benigni. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his two daughters Donna Benigni and her fiancé Chad McElroy of Wallingford, Chelsea Spencer and her fiancé Will Cousino of Northford; his granddaughter Giulianna; his brothers Robert L. (Nancy) Benigni of Manchester, Donald (Anisa) Benigni of Milford and Gary Benigni of Yalesville; his uncle George “Bud” Leveille; his aunt Carol Benigni both of Wallingford; his former wife Susan Passmore; his nephews and nieces Christopher (Danielle) Benigni and their son Qais, David Benigni, Eric Benigni; Marc (Tsu Tsu) Benigni and their daughter Eva, Sara Laura, Bobby Benigni; his cousins Larry and Ricky Benigni, Beverly Palter, Ed, Ruth, Tom Zienkowicz, along with Doug Benigni, Robin Anglin, Patrick (Gerda) Leveille and Brent (Nancy)Leveille.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Friday, May 25, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in The Wallingford Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Interment will be private in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
