Obituary: Richard “Rick” John Remillard Jr., 46, of Meriden

Richard “Rick” John Remillard Jr., 46, of Meriden, passed away unexpectedly March 3, 2018 at his home. He was born in New Haven on April 26, 1971, a son of Linda (Johnson) Remillard of Berlin and the late Richard J. Remillard Sr.

Richard graduated from Wilcox Technical High School in 1989 and worked as an acoustical engineer at CSI for many years. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and loved playing softball. He enjoyed music, especially heavy metal, and was a devoted son, father, brother, and uncle.

In addition to his mother, Linda, he is survived by his daughters, Hayley Remillard of Wallingford, and Alina Rose Mongeon of Meriden; his sons, Dakota Remillard of Meriden, and Jordan Falcigno and Nathan Remillard, both of Wallingford; his brothers, Kevin Remillard of Wallingford, and Michael Remillard and Dennis Remillard, both of Meriden; his nieces and nephews, Louie, Ashley, Sarah, Shaun, Ryan, Blake, Jonathan, Brody, and Dustin, his aunts and uncles; and extended family including his teammates of Mimi’s Boyz.
