Obituary: Ryan R. Moore, 25; Meriden Native

Ryan Richard Moore, 25 years young, of Plainfield, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 17, 2018.

He was born in Meriden CT, October 5, 1993, a son of Richard M. Moore of Meriden and MaryBeth Moore Zocco of Florida. He graduated from Maloney High School and was employed by Mr. Z’s Restaurant in Plainfield where he loved cooking and was thriving.

Ryan had a great sense of humor throughout his life, always making people laugh. He had a smile that brightened up a room. Ryan played various sports in his life including soccer, baseball, tennis, and hockey for many years. Ryan and his brother Dylan played sports together. Ryan loved music and loved going to concerts. He and Dylan played in bands together while in high school. His favorite band was “A Day To Remember” who he saw many times. He loved playing drums and could talk to anyone about music.

Ryan had a tender heart and always put others before himself. He loved animals, especially cats. His dream was to go to veterinary school so he could take care of animals.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his older brother Dylan Thomas Moore who he idolized, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will now be with his beloved cats that passed on before him, especially Boo. We will all miss Ryan dearly, but we know that he is waiting for us with open arms and a warm smile when we meet again.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Friday, Dec. 28, from 4 – 7 p.m. A prayer service will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Please come and share a memory and smile. Interment will be private.
