Open Days Program Garden Tour - Meriden

Tour of private gardens open to benefit the Garden Conservancy.

What: The Garden Conservancy’s Open Days Program
Explore two private gardens in Meriden, open for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Highlights include a 75-foot dawn redwood specimen, a potager, a border with miniature lilac standards, a collection of more than 200 container plantings including tropical and annuals; and a formal oval garden with a central fountain.

When: Saturday, June 27; hours vary.

Where: Visitors may begin at any of the following: Jardin des Brabant, 131 Corrigan Avenue, Meriden, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; or Garden of George Trecina, 341 Spring Street, Meriden, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: $7 per garden; children 12 & under free.
