PD: Former Meriden Sears Employee Stole Merchandise

The employee allegedly took items ranging from candy bars to more expensive items.

A former Sears employee at the Westfield Meriden mall was charged with stealing merchandise from the store.

Keyna Salgado, 21, of Meriden was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Sunday after she was allegedly found to have taken more than $500 in merchandise from the store over the course of several weeks, according to the Record-Journal.

She was allegedly caught on camera stealing items that ranged from candy bars to more expensive items.
