A Meriden man was arrested after he allegedly fired a gun during a dispute.
Nicholas Kirchuk, 22, of Reservoir Avenue went to assist his mother move out of a residence that she shared with a man. He accused the man of not treating his mother well, according to the Record-Journal.

Kirchuk allegedly pointed a handgun at the man and then fired it into the ground. He was charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, risk of injury to a child, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.
