PD: Meriden PTO Treasurer Embezzled About $23k
The woman is accused of embezzling the money and writing out receipts to cover her tracks.
A Meriden woman is accused of embezzling nearly $23,000 from the Nathan Hale Elementary School parent-teacher organization.
Amyie Hope-Wright, 36, was arrested and charged with first-degree larceny and fabricated evidence, according to the Record-Journal.
Other members noticed money was missing, which led to an investigation.
