PD Releases More Details of Meriden Building Official Arrest
The building official has been placed on paid administrative leave.

MERIDEN, CT- Police have released more details after a city building official was arrested after an incident at a pawn shop.
David Zwick allegedly grabbed a phone out of a pawn shop employee's hand and put it in his vehicle, according to the Record-Journal.

Zwick was on site because construction had started without the proper permits and a stop work order was being issued. He has been placed on paid administrative leave and is scheduled to speak to city officials at a hearing.
