Pet Fair 2017 Set For Saturday In Meriden
There will be a 5K, Dog Walk, Kids Fun, rescues with animals for adoption and much more.

MERIDEN, CT — A Pet Fair featuring a 5K Road Race, Dog Walk and Kids Fun Run will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 at Hubbard Park in Meriden. The event is presented by the Meriden Rotary Club and Saving Paws.
The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m., the Dog Walk at 9:15 a.m., and the Kids Fun Run at 8:00 am. The Pet Fair runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is a free event. (To sign up for Meriden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
There will be rescues with animals for adoption as well as all types of other vendors; animal and non-animal related. There will be food trucks, llamas, and princesses.

Also demonstrations by a dog trainer, Detective Dave Visconti of the Meriden Police Department and his K-9 partner Vader, and EARS the Emergency Animal Response Services with their animal ambulance. Lots of raffles and a DJ will be playing all day.

It is currently scheduled to be a rain or shine event.
