Police: Woman Stole and Cashed Mom's Checks

A Meriden woman was arrested after she allegedly stole and cashed checks that belonged to her mother.

Pamela Fudala allegedly cashed $2,800 worth of her mother’s checks, according to the Record-Journal.

She was arrested July 15 and charged with first-degree forgery and third-degree larceny.

Her mother was under the impression that she had been miscalculating bank funds, but eventually noticed her daughter’s handwriting on a check, police said.
