This week's Readers' Choice contest asked readers to recommend the best place in town to get french fries. The field was wide and votes were very close, but steamed burger restaurant edged out the rest.

Shout outs went to the home fries at Ted's, along with other locally-run restaurants Royal Fish n' Chips and Jake's Wayback. Some folks liked the national chains Chilis, McDonalds, Applebees, Ruby Tuesday's and Wendy's.
