Red-tailed Hawk Injured In Meriden

A red-tailed hawk was found injured and is currently under observation.

MERIDEN, CT - An injured juvenile red-tailed hawk was found Tuesday at a West Main Street residence in Meriden, according to the Connecticut State Environmental Conservation Police. The hawk was taken to Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital, Berlin. X-Rays showed a metal pellet embedded in the left wing causing a break to the ulna bone.
