11 Bob's, Eastern Mountain Sports Stores To Close In Connecticut: Report
The clothing retailers' parent company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. Find out which stores are closing.

The run of bad news in the retail sector continues, as it was announced Monday that Bob's Stores will soon close 11 Connecticut locations, including two Eastern Mountain Sports stores. This comes on the heels of recent news that Payless ShoeSource plans to close five Connecticut stores and J.C. Penney is closing one store in the state.
Bob's Stores in Danbury, Fairfield, Hamden, Middletown and Milford are slated to close in the near future as part of the bankruptcy process of Meriden-based parent company Eastern Outfitters LLC, reports the Connecticut Post. The exact closure dates were not disclosed, and in Fairfield, the Eastern Mountain Sports store, which is also part of the company, is also slated to close.
Additional Bob's Stores slated for closure in Connecticut include Enfield, Simsbury, Manchester and Waterford, NBC Connecticut reports. EMS Buckland Hills in Manchester is also slated to close, WFSB-TV reports.
