Shots Fired, Woman Found Dead In Meriden: Police

MERIDEN, CT — A woman was found dead Sunday night at a condo complex in Meriden, according to police. Police received numerous calls reporting shots fired at 1274 E. Main St. at 9:25 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a 37-year-old woman lying in the entryway to the complex. Medical personnel were called, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there was an unknown number of shots fired in the immediate area. Police are investigating the incident and declined to provide further details.
