Thanksgiving DUI Patrols Announced For Meriden Area
State Police will be on the lookout for impaired drivers through Thanksgiving weekend.
MERIDEN, CT — State Police Troop I has announced several DUI spot checks and roving patrols ahead of the Thanksgiving season. Police will have extra troopers on duty who will concentrate on DUI enforcement through the holiday weekend.
Roving DUI patrols will be conducted on Route 15 and I-91 in the North Haven area, I-691 in the Meriden area and Route 8 in Shelton. The roving patrols will last from Nov. 22 through Nov. 26.
A spot check will be conducted on I-91 in the area of exit 6 in New Haven Friday Nov. 24 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
