Tractor-Trailer Crash Closes Lane On I-91 In Meriden: UPDATE (Cleared)
Officials say the lane is expected to be closed for about two hours as the scene is cleared and guardrail repaired.
UPDATE: The scene has been cleared and the lane has reopened.
MERIDEN, CT — In a 1:20 p.m. update, Connecticut State Police say they have completed their accident investigation but the left lane near Exits 18 and 17 on I-91 South in Meriden remains closed as the DOT repairs a guardrail that was knocked down in a collision involving a tractor-trailer and a car. There was no immediate word on injuries sustained in the crash.
Traffic is delayed for several miles due to congestion, according to DOT officials.

MERIDEN, CT — A crash involving a car and tractor-trailer has closed one lane on I-91 South between Exits 18 and 17 in Meriden.

There was no immediate work on injuries sustained in the crash.
