“A Great Adventure”

Only One!  Only one great adventure?  More likely an entire season of them.  The Jewish Days of Awe mark a holy and historic saga in the Jewish year, a great adventure of faith and living it.  How do we as Unitarian Universalists draw from our Jewish roots in the celebration of Rosh Hashanah (”beginning of the year” and observed this year at sundown, September 24) and move through these Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe) into Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement” and observed this year starting at sundown, October 4), the holiest day of the Jewish Year?  In story, song, ancient Scripture, silence, and questions so many questions.
