Update: Meriden Crash Victim Condition Upgraded
The crash victim who lost a leg after being pinned between two vehicles had his condition upgraded.

Medical personnel have upgraded Friday night’s crash victim’s condition from critical to stable over the weekend, according to the Record-Journal.
Benjamin Ariza, 35, was pinned between two vehicles during the crash. One of his legs was severed and the other was injured during the incident, according to police.

Danny Perez, 32 failed a field sobriety test and his blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit, police said. He was charged with DUI, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle and reckless driving. He was held on a $20,000 bond.
