Saint Joseph School will award the Dorothy and Marion Whalon Scholarships to 16 alumni on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Four Points by Sheraton, Meriden. The 2014 Whalon Scholarship recipients are:Briana Alicea, Christopher Bischoff, Tara Curry, Alyssa Daniels, Brittany Davis, Stephanie DeJesus, Frederic Fladenmuller, Sarah Garvey, Aidan Messier, Paul Petrowski, Mya Rios, Deanna Scotto, Julia Spencer, Amy Sullo, Heather Vicenty and Alexis Ward.
The Administration of Saint Joseph School would like to recognize the “SJS Society of Scholars”. This esteemed group of Saint Joseph School alumni consists of all past recipients of the Dorothy and Marion Whalon Scholarship. These were first awarded over ten years ago, and have helped 69 Saint Joseph School graduates pursue a higher education. The total conferred to date is $ 143,250.00
