Meriden YMCA Receives Grant For STEAM Programs

Cox Communications recently made a donation to the YMCA in support of educational programming.

MERIDEN, CT - The Meriden YMCA recently received a $12,000 grant from Cox Communications. The YMCA was given the grant to enhance its STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) programming.

Charities grants are selected by Cox employee volunteers for providing quality after-school and summer learning programs with a focus on STEAM learning and a proven track record of creating innovative programs for Connecticut’s youth, according to a company statement.
