2, Including Pregnant Woman, Hospitalized After Middletown Crash

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Washington Street is closed in both directions due to a multi-car crash between Bernie O’Rourke Drive and Old Mill Road, according to fire officials.

NBC Connecticut reports two people, including a pregnant woman, were hospitalized after a head-on crash. Police told NBC Connecticut that neither person was seriously injured in the crash, which occurred earlier this morning.

Fire officials are advising motorists to avoid the area while crews work to investigate and clear the debris.
