Our Location: Our location is unequaled in Connecticut, which includes quiet sitting meditation in front of the Shôyôan Teien Zen garden and a traditional Japanese style tatami room.
Parking: Free street parking on Washington Terrace but there is also parking on Mt. Vernon Street which is the side street, next to the center.
Meeting Rules: In order to maintain a harmonious and respectful environment, practice kind speech, be courteous, and abstain from talking about current politics or display or wear political or offensive symbols or imagery. Those unable to follow these rules will be asked to promptly leave.

Come early to grab lunch, play yard games and make your own eclipse chalk art! The first 100 customers (starting at 12 PM) will receive free eclipse glasses with a $5 purchase made at the Apple Barrel Farm Market, or you can purchase glasses for $5 each (while supplies last).
We will have a special Eclipse Cookie Decorating Kit available for purchase! Yard games will be outside on the Apple Barrel Patio.

During The Conduit's guided sound meditation, you'll effortlessly experience the benefits of a deep meditative practice, no previous experience or special techniques are required. As each note resonates through the meadow, you'll be invited to quiet the mind, release tension, and discover a renewed sense of balance and inner light. The harmonious vibrations create space to let go of mental and emotional blockages while fostering a deeper connection to your heart, mind, and body.
For the most comfortable experience, please bring whatever helps you fully relax. A zero-gravity chair is ideal, or bring a yoga mat, beach towel, pillow, a blanket. Eye coverings and water are also encouraged.

Dearest Gentle Reader, the pleasure of your company is requested at 1741 Pub &amp; Grill on August 16th. Don your favorite Regency gowns, white gloves, waistcoats, tailcoats and heirloom family jewelry, as you dine with us for a spectacular brunch buffet &amp; dancing. The menu features 19th century dishes, house-made scones, delicate tea cakes, classic quiche, and of course, a variety of English teas.
Enjoy social dancing in the style of Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte led by internationally noted dance historian Susan de Guardiola of <a href="https://www.kickery.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Capering and Kickery!</a> Dance like Simon and Daphne, George and Charlotte, or Hyacinth and her friends to music as heard on the TV show. No experience or partner needed, the dances are easy and all will be taught!
