20-Year-Old Killed In Parking Lot Of Middletown Hookah Bar: Police

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A 20-year-old New Britain man was killed early Sunday outside a hookah bar in Middletown, according to police.

Officers responded around 3:45 a.m. to the parking lot of Hidden Hookah Lounge in the 600 block of South Main Street, where they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to Middlesex Hospital and later pronounced dead, according to police.

The incident occurred at closing time and police believe numerous people were in the parking lot when the shooting happened and that multiple rounds were fired, although no witnesses have come forward, authorities said.
