Middletown- St. Vincent de Paul Middletown announces their third annual signature event, Open Your Heart: A Tasty Celebration of Middletown Area’s Finest Cuisine! to benefit St. Vincent de Paul Middletown (SVDM). It takes place on Thursday, February 6, 2020 6-9 p.m. at Saint Clements Castle , 1931 Portland-Cobalt Rd, Portland, CT. Guests can sample appetizers, entrees and desserts from over 15 of the area's top restaurants and caterers including Lan Chi’s Vietnamese Restaurant, Lino’s Market, Red Fox Restaurant Bar, Fiore II Restaurant, El Pulpo and Tapas, Vero Cucino Rustico, Pocket Full of Posies, Sweet Harmony, Perk on Main and Chef Jeremiah from SVDM to name some of them.
Help us honor award recipients Sue Murphy, Corporate Support Award, the Liberty Bank Foundation; Tom Byrne Distinguished Business Award, Connecticut Rental Center; Catherine Rees, Leadership Award, Middlesex Health; and Sue Whitmore, Volunteer of the Year for St. Vincent’s Amazing Grace Food Pantry.

People will share stories of the lives of some of our Middletown neighbors and celebrate the supporters of SVDM. There will also be fine wine and craft beer, auction gift baskets and special live auction items including overnights to Newport and Massachusetts, day trips on a train and riverboat ride, sunset sailboat cruise, and a use of a convertible BMW for a weekend.
