Wednesday March 19th thousands gathered in Hartford for the 4th Annual Connecticut March for Life! It was an unseasonably beautiful day. Thousands showed up to show their support for the unborn! Scores of young people were in attendance at Wednesday’s march. Several students who spoke to WTNH News 8 said they’d seen renewed interest in faith among their peers. Over 20 buses drove people around the state including Middletown.
Last month, the Connecticut General Assembly held a hearing on Senate Joint Resolution 35 (SJ35). If passed, SJ35 would put before voters, possibly as soon as this November, the question of adding a “right to abortion” into the state constitution. This was the top discussion of the speakers at the Rally in front of the Capital building before the march.
