Hello Middlesex Elderly Service Provider Network…
I am bringing our Middlesex “Stop Ageism Now” campaign to the next stage over the next several weeks and so I am asking if you will consider being some of our very first partners to “Take the Pledge” to support our effort to promote “Ageism Free” communities in Middlesex County. Please read below!
This flyer has been adapted, with permission, from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County (CFMC) “Bully Free Communities” campaign and their similar “Take the Pledge” effort. I therefore have been asking…if a person supports “bully free” schools and neighborhoods for kids, then why wouldn’t that same person support “ageism free” neighborhoods and businesses for the elderly?

In our surveys this year from more than 150 seniors in Middlesex, 65% said that they feel “devalued” in our society.
There’s no gimmick or cost here whatsoever. We just want to encourage all of our supporters, colleagues, towns and business partners to simply join us in helping morally support our older citizens in Middlesex County just by “Taking the Pledge” as we further our advocacy efforts through our Gatekeeper program, which is funded by the Middlesex United Way and CFMC.
