Ann Bongiorno, of Middletown, Passed Away

Ann ( Lisitano). Bongiorno, 82 beloved wife of 62 years to Angelo Bongiorno, of Middletown passed away on Monday at Hartford Hospital.

She was born January 21, 1933 in Middletown, daughter of the Late Joseph and Anna ( Lombardo) Lisitano. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church and prior to her retirement was employed by the City of Middletown Food Service.

Besides her husband she is survived a daughter Laura Bongiorno and a son, Thomas Bongiorno of Middletown, two brothers Louis “ Andy” Lisitano of Newington and Fred’ Smitty Lisitano of Portland, her beloved dog Lexie and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Frank, Sebastian, John, Salvatore, Joseph and Geno and sisters Connie Lynch, Vicky Kalinowski and Lucy Peterson.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 A.M. at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield.There are no calling hours. D’Angelo Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences available at dangelofuneralhome.com.
