“The City Art Collection,” initiated in 1977 by the Commission on the Arts, is a unique Middletown asset that brightens up the City Hall building and has been viewed by thousands of people. (Picture Is On The Newsletter!)
It is a permanent collection of art works purchased from local artists, and on continuing exhibition in the Municipal Building. Each newsletter publication will feature a piece of the collection and a statement about the artist who has created the work. The collection can be viewed Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., excluding state and federal holidays.
