Back To School Drive Set For Aug. 18 In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Police Departments is hosting a Back to School Drive at Big Lots in Middletown from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18.

The event will take place at Big Lots at 820 Washington Street.

"We are collecting all types of back to school items including but not limited to: backpacks, binders, lunch boxes, water bottles, pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, and gift cards," police wrote in a news release. "We are not accepting clothing items during this drive."
