Bar Among New Businesses Registered In Middletown In August

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown had 40 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Trucking and moving companies led the way with four filings, followed by cleaning and building-services businesses and home remodelers and builders.

Among the new arrivals were La Boca Group, a bar, Toll Gate Shire, a farm and Wine bar, a full-service restaurant. All but one organized as a limited liability company; the exception was a corporation.

State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
