Belligerent Intoxicated Middletown Boater Arrested: PD
The captain was less than polite, according to police.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Officers arrested a belligerent intoxicated boater who also was in possession of illegal fireworks, according to police.
Police were patrolling the waters July 7 at the town's fireworks celebration. They found a boat traveling in a restricted are with its lights off after dusk, police said.
The U.S. Coast Guard boarded the boat for a safety inspection and found that the captain of the boat Patrick Brogan, 26, displayed signs of intoxication, according to police. He failed a sobriety test and refused to cooperate for several others.

During the arrest he became belligerent such as listing his number as "860 Go **** Yourself" and referring to an officer as "USS ******bag," police said.
When asked what drugs he took he said he had "Lots of marijuana, cocaine and heroin," according to police.

Brogan was charged with boating under the influence and illegal possession of fireworks.
