Bielefield Students Soar for Science
Fourth-graders from the South Farms section of Middletown are the first in the city to visit the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks to learn about aircraft technology as part of its SOAR for Science program.

Fourth-grade students from recently visited the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks, joined by Kate Miller from the Fund for Greater Hartford, which funded part of this trip, and Caroline d’Otreppe from the museum.
Students from each of the fourth-grade classes in Middletown will be visiting over the next few weeks as part of the museum’s SOAR for Science program, where students learn about the forces affecting aircraft in flight and about the local businesses that have contributed to the development of aircraft technology.
