Body Found In CT River; Police Investigate: Reports

CROMWELL, CT — Police are investigating after the discovery of a body in the Connecticut River in Cromwell, FOX 61 reported. Police were notified of a possible body floating in the river at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday.

Crews located and removed the unidentified male body. Cromwell Police Department Detective Division and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating, according to NBC CT.

The incident appears to be isolated and there is no threat to the community.
