Boy, 11, Seriously Injured in Bike vs. Vehicle Collision: Middletown Police

Police said the boy was hospitalized with serious injuries following the crash.

Middletown, CT — An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious injuries after his bike collided with a vehicle on Vine Street Thursday afternoon, according to Middletown Police.

Police said the boy was riding his bike on the eastern sidewalk on Vine Street around 4:15 p.m. and tried to cross the street to the west side and collided with a vehicle traveling north bound.

The boy was transported to Connecticut Children's Medical Center with serious injuries.
