Friends Bronwyn and Dave offered a light-hearted spin on traditional entertainment, combining music and comedy through funny banter and acoustically performed songs. Their comedy was accessible, relatable and smart: No f-bombs, no screaming or shouting, just funny banter and good music! WATCH THE WHOLE EVENT HERE!!!

Their repertoire included unique renditions of popular American standards and original songs. Dave is a 30 year resident of Middletown and a past member of the Middletown Senior Center. Bronwyn Commins has been studying comedy for over twenty years. She’s worked as a comedy writer and has studied and taught improv and stand-up. Ms. Commins has appeared at Sea Tea Improv in Hartford, and was invited to perform at Connecticut’s Got Talent in 2019. She’s performed throughout Connecticut, and her writings have won awards at both the local and national level. She lives in Durham, Connecticut, USA, and works in Middlefield, CT. $1/$2 NR pre-registration required.

Dave Downs is official Music Ambassador for the City of Middletown, CT, as appointed by the Honorable Mayor Daniel T. Drew in 2014. His musical style combines early jazz/pop influences with modern acoustic sensibilities. WATCH THE WHOLE EVENT HERE!!!
