The City is preparing for leaf collection season, which means the curbside bulk waste service will be suspended. The last day for payment is Monday, 10/19/21. Payments must be received by that date. Bulk waste collection is suspended in the fall until the end of the year and then only offered on a weather permitting basis throughout the winter. Residents should call the DPW office at 860-638-4850 prior to planning a curbside pick up in the winter. Bulk waste can be brought to the Recycling Center for drop off throughout the fall and winter. More information on leaf collection and bulk waste collection suspension can be found here. Bulk Waste Collection is NOT suspended in the Sanitation District.
