Forest City Council No. 3 Knights of Columbus
About Us
Founded on October 1, 1883, at St. John Parish in Middletown, Connecticut, Forest City Council No. 3 holds the distinction of being one of the earliest councils established following the founding of the Knights of Columbus. The Order itself was founded only a year earlier, in 1882, by Blessed Michael McGivney, a parish priest in New Haven, Connecticut, with the mission of providing financial assistance to families in times of hardship and promoting Catholic unity and fraternity.
Rooted in the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, Forest City Council No. 3 has carried forward this vision for over a century. As a family-oriented organization, we are committed to serving our parish, supporting local charitable initiatives, and fostering spiritual growth among our members and their families. Our council continues to be a vibrant presence in the Middletown community, upholding the Catholic faith and the founding ideals of the Knights of Columbus.
