Are you carrying more than you realize?

Stress. Grief. Self-doubt. Anger. We don't just think these feelings — we hold them. In our shoulders. Our jaw. Our chest. Our gut.

When life delivers experiences we can't fully process in the moment, that emotional energy doesn't simply disappear — it settles into the body like ice cubes of frozen suffering, quietly shaping our habits, our reactions, and our relationships in ways we may not even recognize.

Over time these patterns deepen — making us more reactive than responsive, more guarded than open, more exhausted than we need to be.

The good news? These ice cubes can melt.

And when they do, your natural energy finds its way back to balance, ease, and the freedom to meet life with clarity, confidence, and genuine courage.

About This Workshop

The Tibetan Yoga & Emotional Mastery of Body–Mind (EMBM) online workshop draws from Kum Nye — an ancient and rare system of Tibetan Yoga brought to the West by the revered master Tarthang Tulku. These time-honored practices are focused on the body's energy system rather than physical strength or flexibility, making them accessible to virtually everyone regardless of age or experience.

It is said that the Buddha himself taught energetic practices not only as a foundation for seated meditation, but as a path to living life more gracefully and wholeheartedly. These teachings have been preserved across centuries — because they work.

What makes Kum Nye different?

Unlike conventional yoga, which emphasizes physical postures and strength, or mindfulness meditation, which works primarily with the thinking mind, Kum Nye works directly with the body's energy system — the subtle but powerful field where emotions, sensations, and life experience are actually stored. It is gentle, slow, and profoundly interior — less about doing and more about feeling, releasing, and allowing.

Unlike talk therapy, which can sometimes inadvertently reinforce our mental storylines about what happened to us and why, these practices bypass the narrative mind entirely and go straight to where the suffering actually lives — in the body itself. The result is a depth of release and transformation that thinking alone simply cannot reach.

The three core tools of this workshop — breathwork, acupressure, and mindful body postures — work together to soften and dissolve the layers of frozen emotional energy we accumulate over a lifetime, restoring the natural flow that is our birthright.

These practices are rare. They are gentle. And they are remarkably, immediately effective — even for complete beginners.

Going beyond traditional talk therapy and conventional yoga, this workshop works at the powerful intersection of body and mind — transforming emotional clutter into clarity, confidence, and lasting peace.

What You'll Experience

✔ The core "Dissolving Practice" — a gentle yet powerful technique to calm the mind and bring strong emotions back into balance

✔ The "Great Transformation" exercise — shifting self-doubt and limiting beliefs into authentic confidence and courage

✔ Tools to release grief, anger, and stored tension — transforming heavy emotional weight into vibrant, flowing energy

✔ Simple daily practices you can use immediately — on the meditation cushion, at work, in relationships, and in life's most challenging moments

These are not one-time fixes. They are life skills — a practical toolkit for navigating whatever comes your way with more ease, tenderness, and resilience.

Your Guide — Melissa Lewis, RN BSN

Melissa came to these practices over 30 years ago and has never looked back.

As a palliative and hospice nurse, Melissa walks alongside people facing immeasurable pain and loss every single day. People often ask how she maintains her warmth, her balance, and her cheerfulness in the face of such profound suffering. Her answer is always the same: these practices.

Melissa brings the clinical precision of a trained nurse and the open heart of a longtime practitioner to every workshop she leads. She doesn't just teach this work — she lives it.
