We found Cheez-It A.K.A Chez in our apartment’s parking lot under a car, he was quick to come out and rub himself all over our legs, it seems he was either abandoned or somebody’s (non microchipped) pet who managed to escape. The vet we visited told us he was suffering from ear mites and even had frostbite at some point that left him with a curled right ear. Chez remained very reserved till we brought out the Churu and let him acclimate to his new living situation, he’s turned into a total purr and biscuit machine ever since. We’re convinced he’s the most chill cat in existence when the right supports are in place. Regardless, we believe his new owners need to be patient with him, no specific trauma outside of being on the streets for an unknown period of time has been confirmed but still. We’d love for him to find a home with somebody who can be there for him as much as he is for them. We aim to foster as many cats as we can to help keep them off the streets, lessen the load of existing shelters, and help future owners find a companion.
