COLLEGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT presents: “Managing Environmental Performance in Corporate Supply Chains: A Practitioner’s View” on Monday, September 19, 2016 @ 12:10pm in the Usdan – Room 108

Identifying and managing environmental issues in today’s complex supply chains is no mean feat. It’s expensive and challenging … especially in a global context. Identifying and prioritizing issues takes time. Designing a strategy that often has to encompass thousands of suppliers is a unique business challenge. But there are leaders out there who’ve established best practices – including how to assess for relevance and how to purchase sustainably.

Come hear from a subject matter expert … and Wes grad … who has worked to create positive environmental change in global supply chains. You’ll hear about the challenges, the strategies, the big leaps and some future trends that can mean career opportunities. And we’ll even discuss whether improving performance really matters in the face of exponential growth in consumption.
